As a follow-up to Superintendent Jenkins' announcement on Friday, April 24th that we are moving to a virtual graduation, I want to provide you with additional details as to how we plan on celebrating the Class of 2020 in the coming weeks and hopefully in July.

First, our virtual graduation ceremony will be held on June 5th at 8:20 pm in the evening. This 8:20 pm start time represents the class of 2020 in military time.

Second, we are planning to hold a face-to-face graduation ceremony on our football field on July 22nd if public health restrictions allow.

Third, we are very excited to announce that we are holding a “Senior Drive-Through” on Thursday, May 28th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Seniors will be encouraged to dress in their cap and gowns as they drive through the senior parking lot one last time and enjoy some fanfare and celebration! We will provide more details as to the route and social distancing guidelines required by the CDC and the OCPS Security and Emergency Management officials as we get closer to that date.

Finally, cap and gown distribution is taking place between May 5- May 8. Seniors, we are asking that you complete the instructions below by May 11 dressed in your cap and gown in order to be included in our virtual graduation being produced. We want EVERY senior to be a part of this one of a kind celebration. If you have any questions about this process, please email [email protected]
