Principal’s Message
Competing this past Thursday evening rather than on a Friday, our varsity football team fought hard against the Jones Tigers but ultimately came up short, 24-9. Our Braves now turn into a series of three home games beginning on September 18 vs. the East River Falcons, followed by the Timber Creek Wolves (9/25), and then our Homecoming game versus the Horizon Hawks (10/2). Good luck to Coach Sprenkel, the coaching staff, our trainers, and our awesome student-athletes over the next three weeks. If you can join us for any of these upcoming away games, please come on out and cheer on your Braves. All three of these high school opponents consistently field very competitive teams, so the support would be greatly appreciated. Go Braves!
As for this edition of Totem Talk, the calendar shows a variety of events planned throughout the week, and we will be releasing student progress reports this week, posting them to Skyward Family Access. Please invest a few minutes to review your student's grades with them once they are posted. You will also note that we have our first Brave Connections of the school year this Wednesday. It is a great opportunity to check in with all of your students' teachers to ensure they are on track for a successful academic year.
