National Honor Society

Membership into Boone High School’s Chapter of NHS is open to all Juniors and Seniors who meet membership requirements. Attendance is a membership requirement. All announcements will be made through the NHS Canvas page which members must join.

Requirements for Boone High School National Honor Society 

GPA
Applicants must have a minimum 3.75 unweighted GPA or a minimum 4.0 weighted GPA 

Four Pillars of NHS
Possess the characteristics aligned to the four pillars of National Honor Society – Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service 

Volunteer Community Service Hours  
Initial applicants must have at least 10 community service hours
Juniors are required to have 20 previously documented hours  
Seniors are required to have 40. 
 
Recommendations
2 from Teachers, 1 from Sponsor/Coach  

Applications must be submitted online.

Application window opens in early September.
