Welcome from Dr. Hector Maestre, our Principal!
As our summer begins, I would like to express how grateful I am to be leading such an amazing community of students, parents, and staff as we have at Boone High School. This 2023-2024 year seemed to move incredibly fast, but it was also extremely successful. I am so proud of all of the achievements and accomplishments of our Braves. We still have one major event ahead of us: next Tuesday evening's commencement for our Class of 2024! Please remember that our graduation ceremony will be streaming live on YouTube. Please also remember that beginning on Friday, May 31 we will be operating on summer hours.
A special thanks to our SAC, PTSO, and all of our Boone parents who have contributed in ways small, large and unimaginable this year! Thank you for the consistent partnership between home and school, which is so important. The passion and strength within this community continues to make our high school truly a special place for our children and a place that I am not only extremely proud to lead, but also one that I have called home for the last two years.
Finally, congratulations to all of our Braves on a fantastic school year. Enjoy your summer break and to our seniors, I will see you on Tuesday for what will be one of the most enjoyable and memorable days of your lives!
