Boone Bravettes Competitive Dance Team

The Bravettes have a long standing tradition at Boone High School and have entertained students and alumni for over 50 years.  The Bravettes are a varsity competitive dance team that supports Boone Athletics, the student body, and the Boone community through positive expression of dance.

The team performs at football and basketball games, assemblies, pep rallies, and during special events such as Braves Brawl and Brave Aid.  The Bravettes also compete in state and national competitions. This Season the Bravettes placed FIRST with their Pom routine and SECOND with their Jazz routine at the UDA Florida Dance Championship- setting a new Boone High School record! They also made finals for the first time at their NDA National Competition and placed in the Top 20 with both routines-another "record setting feat."

The Bravettes also give back to the community – including volunteering at Give Kids the World, Let's Say Grace, The Hubbard House and participating in Green Up Boone events.

While being a part of the Bravettes Dance Team, dancers will have the opportunity to promote and develop leadership skills, self-confidence, and self-esteem. This team takes pride in using their talents and skills to be positive role models for Boone High School while capturing the spirit of what it means to be a Boone Brave.
