Student Services supports students and families from enrollment through graduation and beyond. Our work is centered on helping students navigate their high school experience with clarity, purpose, and confidence. At Boone, being Brave means showing up, staying committed, and continuing forward even when challenges arise. We strive to create an environment where students are supported, informed, and prepared to take the next step. Whether you are new to Boone or planning your next steps, our team is here to guide and support you along the way.

Students are encouraged to utilize the center beginning in 9th grade for post-high school planning. We are here to provide the following services: counseling students in every aspect of the college process, guide students through self-analysis, career exploration, and educational goal setting, hosting on-campus college visits from participating schools, standardized testing, and college funding.

Steps to take for Completing Community Service Hours
Step 1:
Find an organization that will allow you to volunteer your time to the community.
(Note: If volunteering for a Boone High School club or organization you must speak to the club sponsor.)
Step 2:
Complete Community Service Plan Form (opportunites and links below).
Step 3:
Receive all necessary signatures.
Step 4:

If you are interested in obtaining student records can do so by faxing or mailing a request to their school. If the school you attended is no longer open you may request your educational records from the nearest high school.
You may utilize the Student Records Release Authorization form by clicking on the link and include it when you request your records. If you are requesting your records in person please note that this is an overnight process.
Student Records Release Authorization
Information needed to obtain records includes:
- Present name of student
- Name while attending school/maiden name (if different than present name)
- Name of Orange County Public Schools(s) for which you are requesting records
- If student attended an adult, community or vocational school, a list of the course(s) for which you are requesting records
- Year last attended
- Date of birth
- Address or fax number where the records should be sent
- Signature
- Copy of driver’s license, state ID or other form of identification showing proof of name and date of birth
