Classroom Spotlight - Ms. Monaco

Students recently participated in a dynamic pattern-identification activity designed to sharpen their analytical and critical thinking skills. Working collaboratively, they created patterns using color, shape, size, and arithmetic functions, challenging their peers to identify the sequence and explain the underlying rule.
As they explored similarities and differences, students learned to recognize deeper structures, test ideas, justify their reasoning, and adapt when presented with new information. This hands-on experience not only enhanced their ability to detect patterns but also strengthened their problem-solving skills—preparing them to approach complex challenges with confidence and flexibility.
To celebrate their work, visitors were invited to observe and engage with the student-created sequences, making it a truly interactive and inspiring learning experience.

  • Scholarship - Optimizing educational opportunities and pursuing knowledge
  • Service - Stepping outside oneself to meet the needs of others
  • Leadership - Embodying the spirit of initiative, innovation, and influence
  • Character - Consistent commitment to ethical and compassionate decision making
