Tuesday, September 17th is one the Florida Department of Education's mandated Resiliency Days when we will be following an adjusted bell schedule. All OCPS students in grades 6-12 will complete a 30-minute self-paced Canvas lesson. Topics include overcoming challenges, mental wellness, and how to find support on campus. This lesson satisfies 30 minutes of the Florida Department of Education’s five hours of mandatory resiliency instruction.

Boone High School has been selected as one of only a few schools each year to host an OCPS Parent Academy. The special event takes place next Saturday, September 21 and the theme is the "Fall College and Career Fair." If you have never attended one, OCPS Parent Academies are always extremely well done. This particular content will be of value to any grade level, but especially our upperclassmen at this point in their high school experience.
