Braves Bonus System

Braves Bonus System

The Braves Bonus System is a positive behavior support system that applies to all students.  Each Boone HS student has an account that resides under their student number in the link provided below.  Parents and students are encouraged to check their credits often. When students accrue positive credits, they can be rewarded with incentives, discounts, and more across campus.

Students may accrue points by performing tasks that include tutoring, displaying R.A.I.S.E. (Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Service, Engagement) in the classroom and across campus, signing up for peer-tutoring on Wednesday’s in PASS, community service hours (confirmed through discipline office), on-the-spot behaviors beyond expectation and more.  ALL staff members have access to the program and are encouraged to use the Braves Bonus System to build a positive culture and positive relationship with our student body.

Students can also lose points for violation of rules on campus.  This week we implemented randomized tardy sweeps to ensure student punctuality to class.  One hundred eight tardy incidences were recorded on our Braves Bonus System within the first week on implementation.  The discipline team will continue to usher the Importance of punctuality within our academic success model.  Remember, students have 6 minutes to transition from class to class throughout the day.  Students will receive a deduction within the Braves Bonus system for each incident.
