I want to thank everyone who made last week's Homecoming activities a huge success! From the spirit dress-up days to the parade and BBQ to the football game and, of course, the dance, our students had a great time! It was a week filled with school spirit and so many memories!
This past Friday was so much fun with our first Connectivity Day! Be sure to check out the pictures below of just a few activities that were hosted around campus. It was a great way for students to have fun, be engaged, and get connected!

To celebrate the arrival of Fergus, our staffulty is passing around Fergus Jr. to the person of their choice on campus. That person will proudly display Fergus Jr. in their classroom or office for a week before presenting him to someone new. Stay tuned to Totem Talk to see where Fergus Jr. goes next.

Mrs. Speight brought Fergus to the Main Office to spend time with Mrs. Longmire, our School's Bookkeeper!
Mrs. Longmire is willing to provide assistance at any time, whether it is unjamming a copy machine, teaching someone how to scan, or being a really loving friend. Her love of B2K and video games makes her even more unique and special. Mrs. Longmire is excellent at her job, but even better is her willingness to listen to someone and be there when someone needs a hug or a laugh. Fergus will enjoy all the new friends he will make when he is with Mrs. Longmire.

It was so much fun to see the creative school spirit of so many of our Braves during Homecoming Week! Students who dressed up were able to complete during lunch for prizes. Thank you to everyone who participated throughout the week!
|
After the Homecoming Parade, our PTSO hosted a BBQ on the practice field. It was so much fun to celebrate with our school community, playing games on the field and watching the Braves Brawl skits!
|
On Saturday, our students gathered for the Homecoming Dance, capping off a high-energy spirit week with a night to remember! The cafeteria and courtyard were completely transformed into A Night in the City, featuring shimmering lights and great music!
Students arrived in style, dressed in their best. Whether taking group photos at the photo booth, grabbing a bite at the refreshment tables, or hitting the dance floor, the high energy never let up.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Homecoming Court. Cheers erupted as Addy Goldman and Landon Maier were officially announced as Homecoming King and Queen.
A huge thank you goes out to the SGA, parent volunteers, faculty chaperones, and custodial staff whose hard work behind the scenes made the entire weekend possible!

Our students had a fantastic time during our first of four Connectivity Days! They were able to play indoor games in the gym, BINGO in the cafeteria, explore our Agriculture Department's petting zoo, sing karaoke in the PAC, and even take their shot at the dunk tank with Dr. Maestre and Mr. Hibbard. It was a great afternoon of connecting with friends and making wonderful memories! We are looking forward to the next Connectivity Day coming up in Quarter 2! |

The Boone Braves put together a dominant defensive performance, pitching a shutout against the visiting Horizon Hawks for a Homecoming Game victory!
Boone first scored in the first quarter when CJ Nassar scored a 6-yard rushing touchdown, followed by a successful extra point to make it 7-0.
We extended our lead before halftime when player Jake Nassar connected with Liam Graham on a 15-yard touchdown pass. Although the PAT missed, we took a comfortable 13-0 lead going into the 2nd half.
Our boys put the game out of reach in the third quarter. CJ Nassar found the end zone once more on a 3-yard touchdown, accompanied by a good kick.
With a 20-0 cushion, our Braves defense comfortably coasted through the final quarter to secure the victory.
This Friday, our Braves hit the road for an away game versus the Hagerty Huskies. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
