Mrs. Gordon began her career with OCPS in 2003 as an elementary science teacher at Hidden Oaks Elementary.  She spent seven years teaching elementary school and then taught for three years at both Colonial and Lake Nona High Schools.  Her first job as an assistant principal was at Hunter’s Creek Elementary for three years before joining the Boone High School administration team in 2016.

Mr. Caperton worked in the architecture/construction industry before becoming a teacher at Boone High School in 2000 where he taught Marketing and Computer classes. In 2005, he became part of Boone’s Student Services team where he is currently the department chair.

Ms. Raiford was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. She graduated from Jupiter High School in 2009, then Florida State University in 2013. To further her education, she moved to Orlando to pursue her Masters Degree at the University of Central Florida and graduated in December 2015.

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology – Interamerican University

Mrs. Cosme was born in New York City. She graduated from Lehman High School in the Bronx. Her formative years were filled with diversity and many cultural experiences. Growing up in a big city has taught her to have lifelong resilience. She brings to Boone High School experience from the college level where she worked as a career coordinator helping students further their educational and career goals. She also brings Test Coordinator experience from an OCPS high school.

Ms. Kushner was heavily involved in multiple campus and student life activities at UCF. She served in various roles in Student Government Association and the Office of Student Involvement, worked in the Office of the President, was on the 2014 Homecoming Court, and was named a recipient of the highest student honor at the university: Order of Pegasus. Ms. Kushner was the AVID teacher and coordinator at Bridgewater Middle School before spending two years with the Seminole County public school system.

Mr. Noble is a born and raised Floridian. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School, located in South Orlando, in 2003. Upon graduation from the University of Florida in 2007 he returned to Orlando where he began working for a local non-profit. Earning a Masters in Counseling Psychology in December 2011, Mr. Noble was hired in January 2012 as Boone's SAFE Coordinator.

Mrs. Binkowsky-Hayden was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Florida at the age of fourteen. She graduated from Lake Mary High School in 1997, from the University of Central Florida in 2001, and from Nova Southeastern University in May 2008.


Mrs. Binkowsky-Hayden began with OCPS in 2014 as an AVID teacher and coordinator at Freedom Middle School. After spending a year teaching AVID, Mrs. Hayden then transitioned over and joined Boone’s Student Services team in 2015.
