Boone Bravette Dance Team

The Bravettes have a long standing tradition at Boone High School and have entertained students and alumni for over 60 years. The Bravettes are a varsity competitive dance team that supports Boone Athletics, the student body, and the Boone community through positive expression of dance.

The team performs at home football and basketball games, assemblies, pep rallies, and during special events such as Braves Brawl and Brave Aid. The Bravettes also compete in state and national competitions. This season they placed FIRST in pom at the UDA Florida Dance Championship and fourth in jazz. The team also earned fourth in pom and fourth in jazz at the American All-Star Nationals Competition hosted at Walt Disney World.

The Bravettes also give back to the community – including volunteering at Give Kids the World, the Hubbard House and participating in Green Up Boone events.

While being a part of the Bravette Dance Team, dancers will have the opportunity to promote and develop leadership skills, self-confidence, and self-esteem. This team takes pride in using their talents and skills to be positive role models for Boone High School while capturing the spirit of what it means to be a Boone Brave.
